SCALE DRAWINGS (1:75)

This is the initial scale drawing done on butter paper with the pencil
the image given to us by our lecturers were drawn in the scale !:100
we had to resize and draw it to the scale !:75

The scale drawing on butter paper was again asked to be drawn on tracing paper, but this time concentration on the line weight to emphasis the difference between the wall structure, window structure, furniture and flooring. In order to accomplish this we had to use pens that varied in different point sizes from 0.5 to 0.1.
thicker point sizes like 0.5 and 0.4 were used to show the wall structures, the thinner ones (0.3,0.2,0.1) were used to show window structures, furniture and roofing lines. on doing this project I learnt that a great deal of patience is required and a high demand for accuracy s well.for the slightest mistake would put the whole drawing off.

SJ05- TAYLOR'S SITE PLAN (GROUP WORK)

Perspective and the scale drawing (1:50) of the site that had been assigned to me and my group in the taylors university.

SJO4A AND SJO4B- PLAN DRAWINGS(ARCHITECT DILLER AND SCOFIDIO)

                                                        DILLER AND SCOFIDIO

Diller Scofidio + Renfro is a New York City based architectural firm founded by Elizabeth Diller and Ricardo Scofidio. They are particularly well known for their interdisciplinary approach to architecture. Their influence stems as much, if not more, from their contributions to the theory and criticism of architecture as from their built works. These are sometimes in the form of written work, but more often are in the form of instillation art, video art or electronic art.

Above I have drawn the perspective drawings, site plan, building plan, eleveation and cross section of the architect's building that had beein assigned to me and my group.Upon researching and analysing their designs I have learnt that this architectural firm (Diller and Scofidio) have very ideolistic points of view in the field of architecture and have come up with many innovating break throughs that contribute to the field. However, dispite their modernist designs much of them are very impractical, both financially and mechanically.

Above are the templates that I have found,
symbols and notations used when doing plan drawing.

SJ3A AND SJ3B- PERSPECTIVE SKETCHES AND DETAILING

These sketches are in perspective....  I have done from around college.
I have drawn in one point and two point pespective and I have also managaed to use most of the the different strokes in the detailed drawings of the ceiling lamp and speaker to emphasis on the installation's detailing.

SJ02A AND SJ02C- THE SIX STROKES

Here are the sketches that I have done; following the 6 different strokes((cross hatching, pointilism, continuity, short strokes, scribbles and zig zig)) that were thought to us.
effective tecniques that help enhance my sketching ability.

SJ 01- TOY CHARACTER

These are the three characters I have chosen regarding my toy character.
I have chosen these characters because they portray unique personality and with traits that can be played around flexibly to govern the principles of building design.
